Every rod tells a story. Here are a few of mine.

I've been building custom fly rods since 2011 — and somewhere along the way, I lost count of how many have left the bench. What I haven't lost is the satisfaction of handing someone a rod built specifically for them, watching them cast it, and knowing it fits.

This gallery is a collection of past builds — different blanks, different components, different anglers, different water. Some are delicate glass rods built for small streams. Others are powerful two-handed spey builds meant for big water and bigger fish. Each one started as a conversation and ended as something one-of-a-kind.
