Refund policy

At Virgil Rod Company, we take pride in the quality of our rod-building components and blanks. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused and in original condition
  • In original packaging with all included hardware and accessories
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Custom rods built to order
  • Cut-to-length blanks or components modified at the customer's request
  • Items marked as final sale

How to Initiate a Return

Contact us through our "contact us" page with your order number and reason for return. We'll respond within 2 business days with return instructions. Do not ship items back without prior authorization.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we'll notify you of approval or rejection. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Please note your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the credit.

Exchanges

If you received a defective or damaged item, we'll replace it at no charge. Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage.

Shipping Costs

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
